| BWOC (Bob Wayne's Oil Company) was founded back in 1982 by Bob, a family man who had spent his whole working life in the oil industry. He began as a sales representative, then tanker driver, moved on to running distributorships and then developed the largest independent oil storage in the Avonmouth area.
BWOC retains the family values it was founded upon, those of independence and quality of service. The first of the now familiar green and white tankers was purchased in the early 1980's inorder to ensure the high levels of service and reliability of delivery that BWOC prides itself on. Our fleet of vehicles now boasts the latest technology and has the ability to regularly supply in excess of 7,000,000 litres a week.
The company has successfully diversified into retail garage supplies and has become one of the largest independent fuel card operators in the country. Added to this BWOC supplies the majority of independent distributors in the South West of the country, which forms the backbone of the home delivery market.
BWOC has spent the last 10 years under the wing of North West Europe's largest oil trader, Mabanaft. This has allowed us to load fuel out of more than a dozen terminals nationwide and to offer supplies to the whole country at the same high standard as that enjoyed throughout the South West for over twenty years. |
